Giving Tuesday: Sparkle with a Purpose

In the craziness of the holiday season, Giving Tuesday provides an opportunity to pause, reflect, and give back. It’s a day that encourages people around the world to join together and donate to organizations and causes they believe in.

This year we’ve partnered with two organizations - Little Free Diverse Libraries and Mia’s Miracles - which are working to make big impacts in small ways, just like us!

For every purchase over $75 made on Giving Tuesday, Super Smalls is donating a book to Little Free Diverse Libraries. Together we can continue to inspire, create change and amplify Black voices, one book at a time!

We’re also bringing smiles - and Everyday Sparkle Sticker Books - to the children at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami, FL with the help of Mia’s Miracles! Like Super Smalls, Mia’s Miracles believes that sometimes small actions can make a big impact!

 

LITTLE FREE DIVERSE LIBRARIES
Little Free Diverse Libraries was launched by founder Sarah Kamya after noticing that none of the Little Free Libraries around her hometown featured books by Black authors or illustrators. Knowing the importance of amplifying Black voices and stories, Sarah started bringing donated books for children (and grown-ups!) to her local libraries.

What started as a neighborhood project has grown across the country, and Sarah is now helping to donate books to Little Free Libraries in all 50 states! To learn more about Little Free Diverse Libraries, follow along on Instagram or visit the organization’s Amazon wishlist to support directly.

MIA’S MIRACLES
Mia’s Miracles was founded by Maria Ochoa and Camilo Villegas in honor of their daughter, Mia Villegas. Maria and Camilo believe that small blessings can have big impacts to create a hopeful future for children and families facing challenging circumstances.

Working with Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, FL, Mia’s Miracles provides financial assistance to families so they can focus their attention on the health and well-being of their family. The organization also works to provide medical staff with a Serenity Space to destress, resulting in a happier disposition and better care for patients.
