Job Description:
Super Smalls, a digital-first play-centric kid’s brand, is looking for a paid Graphic Design Intern to join our team this summer! As the Graphic Design Intern at Super Smalls, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our creative and marketing team in real-time design meetings and photoshoots. You will assist in creating digital assets for email newsletters, web, and social media, under the guidance of our full-time graphic designer. This internship is designed to offer hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment, where you will be able to enhance your design skills and learn more about a career in graphic design.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the design team to develop and refine digital assets
- Participate in design meetings and brainstorm sessions
- Design assets for our website, social media platforms, and email newsletters
- Assist in product and model photoshoots
Requirements
- Strong understanding of design principles and an eye for detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- A diverse digital portfolio that demonstrates an understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite
- Interest in content creation, animation, or web design is a plus
- Must be based in NYC and able to commute to our SoHo office

Super Smalls, a digital-first play-centric kid’s brand, is looking for an Operations Associate to join our growing team. The Operations Associate will play a critical role in managing and supporting the daily operations of our business. This position requires a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations logistics for DTC & marketplace, as well as overseeing wholesale order processing and contributing to the overall success of sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Wholesale Order Management:
- Process and track wholesale orders from initiation to invoicing, including routing orders using SPS and other major retailer’s platforms such as Target.
- Communicate with the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment within given ship windows.
- Manage all vendor routing guides and communication with the 3PL regarding proper labeling and requirements for all wholesale orders.
- Handle all return requests, chargebacks, and accounts receivable management for wholesale clients and work directly with the accounting team for collections.
- Data Management:
- Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, and shipping documentation.
- Update and manage customer accounts in accordance with our Wholesale Manager.
- Reporting:
- Analyze order trends and provide insights to improve operational efficiency, working closely around large order forecasts to ensure proper planning.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment on goals and strategies.
- Assist in planning and executing wholesale trade shows and events as needed.
- Responsible for oversight of office supplies, inventory, samples, and other office administrative needs
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational processes and recommend solutions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
- 1-2 years experience in e-commerce operations with expertise in Shopify and Excel
- Past experience working with Target or other major retailers is a strong bonus.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

The Planning Manager will be responsible for owning the planning and forecasting of inventory across all channels, ensuring we meet customer demand while maintaining operational efficiency. You’ll be instrumental in driving the inventory strategy, managing forecasting models, and collaborating with various teams to evaluate new growth opportunities. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable diving into the granular details as well as thinking big-picture and strategically. You’ll be hands-on leading the day-to-day planning, while also influencing long-term planning strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Planning and Forecasting
- Lead the end-to-end inventory planning process, including demand forecasting, order planning, and supply alignment across all sales channels (eCommerce, Mass Wholesale, Speciality, Marketplace, etc.).
- Build, refine, and manage forecasting models to predict inventory needs based on historical data, market trends, and seasonality.
- Analyze and manage inventory turnover and aged inventory to maintain an efficient supply chain.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, and operations) to understand demand signals, promotional activity, and seasonality, incorporating these into forecasts and inventory plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained across all channels to support customer demand while minimizing stockouts or overstock situations.
- Strategic Planning & Business Modeling
- Work closely with senior leadership to model new business opportunities such as new product launches, channel expansions, or geographical growth to determine potential inventory needs and impact on operations.
- Develop business cases for new inventory strategies, evaluating the financial and operational implications of potential initiatives.
- Act as a key contributor to the company’s broader growth strategy, providing insights and data-driven recommendations on how to scale inventory and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Inventory Management & Reporting
- Oversee and manage the purchase order database, ensuring proper communication regarding expected receipt dates and billing for inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and operational expenses, providing regular reports to leadership as needed.
- Develop & implement best practices for inventory management, demand planning, and cost control, ensuring alignment with business goals and continuous improvement in efficiency.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with sales, marketing, production, and senior leadership teams to ensure inventory plans are aligned with sales forecasts and promotional calendars.
- Manage communication across teams regarding product launches, inventory changes, and shipment delays.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on inventory status, sales projections, and performance metrics, ensuring data transparency across teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain management, preferably within an entrepreneurial or high-growth environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to build and manage forecasting models and translate data into actionable insights.
- Proven experience in managing inventory across multiple channels, including eCommerce, wholesale, retail, and marketplace platforms.
- Ability to think strategically about scaling inventory, while also being hands-on and executing operational tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally, aligning inventory plans with broader sales and marketing initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on risk management and contingency planning.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence decision-making and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficiency in inventory management tools, particularly Microsoft Excel and Tableau, is preferred. Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is a plus.

Super Smalls, a direct to consumer, play-centric kid’s brand, is looking for an Associate Designer to join our growing team. As an Associate Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our physical products. We are looking for an individual with a passion for well designed kids products and a basic understanding of materials and manufacturing processes. You will report to our Senior Product Designer and work closely with our co-founder and Chief Creative Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Concept and ideate innovative kids accessories, play jewelry, dress-up and craft designs that adhere to the brand’s aesthetic
- Create tech packs and CAD’s for production.
- Deliver design sketches/prototypes and provide specifications.
- Adapt designs based on feedback, incorporating for finalization.
- Collaborate and follow-up on deliverables with vendors and key partners throughout the design process including Merchandising, Marketing, and Product Development.
- Create product packaging and technical illustrations from scratch
- Prepare materials for meetings and presentations and coordinate logistics.
- Achieve set goals with acute attention-to-detail, tracking progress & anticipating potential issues.
- Support product development activities including review of prototypes and samples, milestone adherence, gathering product information, production follow-ups
- Support Senior Director of PD with other tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications
- 2-5 years Design experience
- Expert proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, mainly Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Have basic understanding of all stages of the product design process, from concept through to production with the ability to visualize and see how a concept or artwork becomes translated into a product.
- Ability to illustrate technical illustrations and set up package design files for print production
- Ability to work closely with multiple departments, under tight deadlines
- Prior experience working with overseas vendors and factories in a product design context
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
